“Encouragement from the Saints”

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:25 pm

In 1 Thessalonians 5:10-11 we read that “He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

It is a wonderful thing when those on the front lines receive encouragement. It is always needed as there never seems to be enough time, energy or resources to get the job done the way we would like. The value of those times when God brings others alongside to help and to cheer us on the way cannot be underestimated. Such was the case when Mission to Ukraine highlighted our ministry in their October 17th newsletter. We have enjoyed working with MTU who has a shared burden of love and service to those who society often forgets. Whenever we as a ministry can network with others who share our burden, we are always blessed and God is honored. Thank you MTU.

Another such blessing came to us this month when a local chapter of Communicators for Christ ‘adopted’ us as their highlighted ministry for this term. Communicators for Christ is a ministry concerned with the development of students into effective communicators of their Christian faith to their culture. We are grateful to God for their interest in presenting our ministry to the community. We pray that God will use Communicators for Christ to train many young people to be well equipped for a life of service. Thank you.
